Paul holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and an Engineering Leadership Award from the Royal Academy of Engineering. He recently joined E-Synergy’s Belfast operation having previously been employed as a Management Consultant in Accenture’s Dublin Practice. During his time with Accenture Paul gained experience with blue chip companies and public sector clients working on projects to develop, refine and implement new business models and processes in complex organisations. Previous to Accenture Paul worked with the Mitsubishi World Rally team as a design and specification engineer and with Performance Racing as a junior event engineer; he also interned with Japan’s leading sports car manufacturer Dome Co. in Kyoto.

At E-Synergy Paul is responsible for establishing and managing the Intellectual Property Exploitation Unit (IPEU) for the NISPO Fund. This unit partners with local technology companies to identify commercially lucrative opportunities for their intellectual assets and then provides a platform on which they can showcase these opportunities to suitable industrialists. These industrialists provide experience and opportunities to fast track the commercialisation of the intellectual assets.
